In case you are confused regarding IELTS exam registration then search no more because this article will explain all the procedures involved in registering for IELTS.
First method is to apply for IELTS online. For this, you will have to log on to the site of IDP and select the date and city for your examination. You will be allotted that city and date only if there are seats available. Complete the form and make sure that before you click on the submit icon all your details are up to date and correct. There is no room for correction once you hit the submit button. You can pay the fee by credit/debit card or net banking. The choice is yours. You will receive a notification regarding the booked seat and the acknowledgement. Once this is done, you have successfully registered for the test. Now you have to make sure that you courier the first and last page of the passport to the IDP head office and don’t forget to bring them on the day of examination. Please remember that without the correct ID proof, you won’t be able to give the exam.
Second method is registering at the branch office of IDP. Use the computer at the office, follow the same procedure mentioned in the first method and submit the fees at the branch itself either by the card or demand draft. Hand over the photocopies of the first and last pages of your passport and carry the same on your exam day as well.
Third method is getting the printout and courier the same with all correct information to the branch office of IDP and submitting the fees by demand draft.
The IELTS exam results are usually published on the 13th day after the exam but for more clarity please contact your exam centre.
